Expert Witness

Quantum Expert and Quantum Expert Support

By their very nature disputes which cannot be resolved, without recourse to arbitration or litigation, are often highly complex.

Quantum experts are key in developing soundly reasoned and evidenced reports that can be essential in delivering impartial, and fact based, evidence to a tribunal or hearing.

The primary role of an expert witness is to provide the tribunal with an unbiased opinion in relation to the matters in dispute within their field of expertise. To be effective, an expert witness must be highly qualified, experienced and knowledgeable in their field and must be perceived as being both independent and objective.

Mark Walker has provided several reports, both in his capacity of instructed expert, and as expert support, that comply with the RICS practice statement/guidance note ‘Surveyors Acting as Expert Witnesses’ and the Civil Procedure Rules 35. He has experience of attending hearings, preparing joint reports with opposing Experts, and dealing with the instructing solicitors and barristers/counsel.

He also has the required amount of experience to provide Clients with effective advice on the merits of proceeding with or settling the dispute.
